Our Magwell Magnetic Head Pulley provides a dependable, self cleaning means of tramp metal extraction on conveyer belt applications. The MHP will increase up time, reduce maintenance costs and provide a metal free product. The permanent magnetic forces protect your capital equipment by providing continuous and effective removal of unwanted tramp metal.

Magnetic pulley operation:

As the belt conveyed product travels over the magnetic head pulley, any ferrous metal that mixed in with the product is attracted and held to the face of the belt and carried to the underside of the conveyor. After the metal passes out of the magnetic field, it is released and discharged into a bin for disposal. The cleaned product, which is unaffected by the magnetic field, is discharged normally over the pulley away from the tramp metal.

Product Details:

Magnetic pulleys are used at the discharge point of the conveyor to separate tramp iron from the product moving on the conveyor belt. The pulley is particularly very useful in iron ore purification to ensure broader working field. Pulley is also used in conjunction with suspension magnet to efficiently control the tramp iron removal. Magnetic pulley can be manufactured using permanent magnets or electromagnetic pulley by using aluminum or copper coils.
