Electro mechanical Vibrating Feeder is used where material is to be fed either continuously or in batches. Offering uninterrupted operation each feeder utilizes the forces set up by two synchronized, counter-rotating, heavy-duty, unbalanced Vibratory Motors, which are firmly fixed to the Feeder trough, in a specific angle to the feeding level. Feeders with unbalanced drives, vibrate freely on a support spring which is insulated against vibration transmission to base frame. This results in a straight line, push-pull, -linear, oscillating motion. The fact that the motors are synchronized and in balance with one another, eliminate the isolation problems normally associated with simple brute force single eccentric drives systems.
Electromechanical Vibrating Feeders are designed to convey product by creating a linear straight line motion. Two counter-rotating WAGWELL motors provide the linear (push-pull) action required. As the Unbalanced motors counter-rotate, the side forces cancel out and the linear forces are combined. With the motors properly attached and located on a rigid trough suitable for the forces being exerted, and also suspended on isolation springs, the conveyance action is quiet and positive. The synchronized motors provide a semi-balanced design which eliminates the uncontrolled bouncing at shut down. Final motors selected can be either 1800, 1200 or 900 RPM, depending upon amplitude required. Final motor horsepower selected is a function of trough weight and TPH capacity required. All motors are continuous duty rated at maximum force.
